What if my grilles intersect one or more window locks?
When designing grilles for single hung, double hung and slider windows, Big Blue automatically asks you to provide information about the location and size of your window lock devices. Whenever a grille bar or surrounding profile frame intersects a window lock, Big Blue will automatically notch the material to a standard 1/8th inch depth. Accordingly, the grille bar or surround profile frame will float behind the locking devices. Click here to view a pdf regarding measuring for locks.

Once you establish an account with Big Blue Window, you can save the designs you create. That way, you can revisit, edit and order your designs at a later date. This is also useful in cases when configuring a grille. You can save your grille, give us a call, and we can take over where you left off.
